Keep Your Eye on the Donor
Fundraisers have so many things to remember and think about when doing our jobs. The good news is that the fundamentals are the same whether we are communicating with our donors face to face, through the mail, on our websites, through Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter or on our cell phones.
"11 Questions Every Donor Asks (Or Should)" was presented at the recent AFP Conference in Baltimore and was reprinted this week in the The Nonprofit Times. Take five minutes to read it, then print it out and tack it on your bulletin board or tape it on your computer screen.
Remember - we do more than just produce revenue for our nonprofits and their valuable programs. As fundraisers we are in the unique position to connect people who care with programs, projects and services that matter -- to them and to our communities.
